Keren McGinity, author of Marrying Out, has three upcoming events related to her book in November. The first takes place November 2 at Diosa Dance Fitness in Framingham, MA. She will give a "Wine and Cheese" book talk and sign copies of Marrying Out from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Then on November 9, she will present the Allen J. Worters Memorial Lecture on "Intermarriage and Gender in Contemporary American Jewish Life," followed by a Q&A and book signing. This event will take place at Temple Hillel B'nai Torah in West Roxbury, MA, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Finally, McGinity will give a talk on "The Gendered Reality of Jewish Intermarriage in America" at the International Institute for Secular Humanistic Judaism Colloquium 2014 in Detroit, MI, November 15 at 2:30 p.m.
