Indiana Poet Laureate Norbert Krapf, author of Bloodroot and Invisible Presence, announced that he will be a part of Hoosier Dylan, a night of Indiana musicians paying tribute to the poet laureate of rock 'n roll. The event kicks off at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater in Bloomington.
"As many of you know, one mission I have as [Indiana Poet Laureate] is to help reunite poetry and music. Nothing has helped me achieve that goal better than Hoosier Dylan," Krapf said in an e-mail. "Come join us for this rollicking, joyous, and spirited evening of some of the greatest songs ever written!"
An encore performance of the Hoosier Dylan show is scheduled for Jan. 9, 2010 at the Athenaeum Theatre in Indianapolis.
