Sara C. Pryor, Provost's Professor of Geography at IU and author of Understanding Climate Change, has been chosen for the new National Climate Assessment and Development Committee. One of 40 climate scientists chosen for the prestigious position, Pryor will help develop a National Climate Assessment report by June 2013.
"The objectives and scope of the committee activities include but are not limited to integration, evaluation and interpretation of climate science projections and the likely impacts of climate change across the U.S.," Pryor said.
